Can I create my own box?
You know your little person best and we have a diverse selection of gifts you can choose from to personalise your gift box. Just start by adding a box to the cart then choose your selected products and we'll do the rest.


Do you personalise the boxes with the child's name?
We sure do! And that's our point of difference. Your little ones will love receiving a box with their name on it. We decorate the box with individual letter stickers to spell out the child's name. Select the sticker colour and include the child's name for the box before you add it to your cart.

Can I purchase an empty box?
Our personalised gift boxes are really sweet and they are the best gift when they're filled with hand-picked items and beautifully packaged with love and care. However, we do get inquiries about purchasing our boxes empty. We are happy to sell empty boxes but please note the following information:

  • Empty boxes will be sent flat packed. The boxes are really easy to assemble! Just peel off the four adhesive stickers and pull the box open. Press firmly to seal.
  • Empty boxes incur a small surcharge. Please ensure you select the empty box option or your order will be cancelled with instructions to reorder the correct item.

How big are the gift boxes?
Our standard gift box size is 350mm x 240mm x 110mm. They are made from a very strong, glossy rigid cardboard with a magnetic closure.

Can I send a personal message with my gift box?
You sure can! Just pop us a message in the notes section with what you'd like to say. We will include your message on to one of our gift cards and send it with the package. Or ask us to leave it blank if you prefer to write your own message and the gift box will come via your own door.

What is your turnaround time?
Providing we aren't waiting on a particular item to arrive, we will get your order in the mail within three working days.

Do you close over school holidays?
Generally no, we are open all year with the exception of Christmas. We take a family holiday around that time, so if you have any orders, be sure to get them in before December 10th. Because we love our time as a family, if the store is ever closed for a period, we will let you know probably via Facebook. 

How do our box of goodies get from our place to yours?
We use a network of couriers to send our gift boxes to the lucky recipient so we can keep the shipping cost low. Our turnaround time to get your parcel sent is three business days. If there are any delays to this we will let you know.


What if I've forgotten a little person’s birthday (oops!) and need a box urgently?
Don’t fear! We can probably still help! Please contact us directly at info@thebiglittleboxco.com.au to discuss any urgent delivery needs. We will do our best to help you out. Please note that because this may use a different shipping method, it may incur an extra cost, which we will discuss with you on an individual basis.

How much is shipping?

FYI: unfortunately we do not send to PO Boxes. It must be a physical address.

Standard Shipping Brisbane area for 1 box is $9.95.
Standard Shipping Outside Brisbane area for 1 box is $15.95
Free shipping on all orders over $170.00 to a single address with no more than 2 boxes.

Do you ship internationally?
We're very pleased to offer international shipping to New Zealand, the UK, Europe and Asia. Please get in touch for an individual shipping quote as prices vary based on the weight of the item and the destination.

Can I track my gift box?
Absolutely! When the parcel is picked up from The Big Little Box Co. our delivery partner will notify you via email and include a delivery estimate, as well as a handy tracking link so that you can track your gift along the way. 

What if an item is faulty?
We check each item to the best of our ability before packing it for shipping. If for some reason you discover a fault with a toy please get in touch within 14 days and we will work with you to find a solution.
